A Healthy Zija Vacation

Back from Rome and the Ancient World!

Thanks to  Zija's miracle tree powder for a healthy VICTORIOUS Italian adventure over Christmas.  If you're contemplating a vigorous tour of a foreign land in the winter, STOCK UP ON SMARTMIX AND XM+ TO SEE you through.

We estimate (by using the distances showing in our Google Maps) that we walked over 50 miles in a week just to and from sites.  HARD WALKING up and down hills, on uneven ancient cobblestone paths, on slick marble stairs, on cracked and missing sidewalks --- WALKING NON-STOP just to get to the sites.

And then when we got there:  pushing crowds of sightseers, sneezing and coughing all over us, and more walking -- over ACRES of incredible churches, crypts, forts, mausoleums, museums, ruins, basilicas, stadia, trattorias, pizzerias, ristorantes, frigidariums, and  YOU GET THE PICTURE!  Not to mention enduring long hours waiting for a meal but no prob: just pop open a sleeve of SmartMix and 'eat' away!

We made a 3am taxi pickup down a dark Piazza Navona alley on no sleep and watched tv all the way from Italy to SFO only to wake up at 3am to feed my plants!

No injuries, sniffles, or problems.  No sights missed.  No sleep-ins.

Just non-stop FUN ON THE GO with family for almost two weeks.

Got to see the Pope on Christmas Sunday at St. Peter's Square:  what an experience!

On a corner near Villa Borghese we were sitting lost on some cathedral steps, scanning our maps and taking a breather, when a stranger approached who was NOT A STRANGER, but an old associate who was holidaying in Rome, too!  (What are the chances??!)

So many great things happened, but most of all was the blessing of being with family for Christmas.

Hope that your Christmas was blessed and your 2014 is Prosperous, Healthy, and Z-Perfect!

It's almost 'back-to-work' time in the Z-Universe!

Piazza Navona's zany acts changed constantly and called to the kids every night. (Jared and Reece)

Mike and I with family on hill at Pompeii.

Found the ice skating rink -- beside Hadrian's tomb!

Pizza kings!

Beri with Mike at best pizza in Rome:  Baffeto's.  Even Gladiator Russel Crowe eats there!
